I have finally started on a project I’ve been wanting to do for years. I want to create the most accurate display model of a standard Sydney Baldwin steam tram motor. I have taken measurements, photographs and gathered as many plans as possible to make a fully detailed model of the motor right down to all the mechanical details inside the motor cab. These models will be display models in order to allow as much detail as possible inside the frames.
The frames are starting to take shape. I’m currently working on the cylinders and brake system. New photos will be added to this page as the project progresses so bookmark this page.
